At Black Horse Beamish we are a historic estate offering boutique accommodation, a country?pub restaurant & bar, and flexible event spaces for weddings, private functions, corporate bookings and more. You'll be joining a friendly, dynamic team located in a beautiful countryside setting.

The Role


As Sales Manager you will drive sales across weddings and events, bar/restaurant group bookings, accommodation packages and venue hire. You will identify and convert enquiries, build relationships, work closely with operations and event teams, and maximise revenue and occupancy.

Key Responsibilities



Develop and execute a sales strategy targeting weddings, events, accommodation and venue hire. Qualify leads, manage the sales pipeline, and close confirmed bookings. Build and maintain relationships with couples, event planners, corporate clients, suppliers and partners. Prepare tailored proposals, presentations and contracts. Collaborate with operations, events, F&B, and accommodation teams to ensure smooth hand-over and high client satisfaction. Represent the venue at networking / site-visits / open-days. Monitor market trends and competitor activity; refine offering accordingly. Report on sales performance, pipeline health, conversion rates and forecasting. Ensure bookings comply with company policy, licensing, health & safety and standard procedures.

Person Specification


Essential:



Proven experience in venue sales, weddings/events or hospitality sales. Strong commercial drive with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Self-motivated, organised, able to manage multiple leads simultaneously. Confident negotiator with professional and friendly manner. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends (as required by events). Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:



Experience in venue offering bar/restaurant/accommodation in addition to events. Familiarity with Reslynx event management software. Existing network within weddings or events industry.

Pay: 30,000.00-32,500.00 per year
