We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Duties
Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials.
Providing excellent patient care by explaining procedures, offering reassurance, and ensuring patient comfort throughout treatments.
Managing patient records accurately using IT systems and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Ensuring the sterilisation of dental instruments and maintaining a clean, organised clinical environment.
Supporting with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient correspondence.
Adhering to health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
Assisting with patient education on oral health and post-treatment care instructions.
Qualifications
Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare or dental setting is desirable.
Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to explain procedures clearly and empathetically.
Knowledge of nursing practices relevant to dental care is preferred.
Competence in using IT systems for record keeping and administrative purposes.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
A recognised qualification in dental nursing or equivalent is advantageous but not essential for entry-level candidates willing to learn on the job.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail.
