Responsibilities



Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance monitoring Oversee food production processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and safety compliance Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in all kitchen activities Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Develop new recipes and menu items to keep offerings innovative and appealing Ensure the kitchen operates in a clean, organised, and safe manner at all times

Requirements



Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant environment Supervising experience is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively Demonstrated expertise in food production, culinary techniques, and presentation skills Experience in restaurant service or hospitality industry preferred Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Good organisational skills with attention to detail Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the establishment

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
