Job Summary

We are looking for weekend staff to work in our busy bar on Friday Saturday night only. If you cannot commit to both nights either a Friday or a Saturday maybe an option. You must be able to work at a fast pace so ideal candidates will have experience and possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a member of our bar team, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring that all patrons receive high-quality beverages and food options. This position requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, while adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring that all items meet quality and presentation standards. Provide outstanding guest services by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for both staff and guests.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services. Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment. A passion for hospitality and a willingness to help others enjoy their experience.
