Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages using various brewing methods and equipment. Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and handle cash or card transactions efficiently using POS system. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment. Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures. Assist with food preparation and serving of meals, adhering to food industry safety guidelines. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality service. Support team members in daily operations, including cash handling, cleaning and beverage preparation.

Experience

Previous barista experience or food service background is required; passion for coffee culture is essential. Familiarity with POS systems enhances efficiency in processing sales. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is a plus. Excellent time management skills to balance multiple tasks during peak hours. Experience in the food industry or cafe environment will help you thrive in this energetic role.
