Papillon Home Care are recruiting experienced Care Workers to provide vital support to our clients based in Folkestone during the weekends.

Our care rounds cover from 7am to 9pm, but are worked in smaller rounds covering these times. (Please note this is NOT a care home, we do not offer 8-12 hour shifts, this is community care)

Working in homecare is an extremely rewarding career where you will make a difference to peoples lives and provide support to those who need it most. Whether it be support to wash and dress, assistance with medication or accompanying to appointments, you will play a critical part in enabling vulnerable people to remain in the comfort of their own homes.

A driving licence with access to a vehicle is essential. We have work to offer in Folkestone, Cheriton, Hythe, Hawkinge and Lympne.

Due to an occupational requirement of service users expressing an overall preference for females during personal care, we are currently seeking females only to join Papillon Homecare.

We have a great team of male carers however these rounds are currently full.

Applicants will be required to have an Enhanced DBS before commencing work, this is at the applicant's own cost. Applicants with DBS on the update service preferred.

Applicants must speak/read/write a high level of English. Many of our client have dementia so need clear instructions and a carer who can understand them. Our carers also deal with medication so need to be able to understand instructions from the care plans.
