Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team. The ideal candidates will provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. This role involves assisting individuals with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting their independence. The Care Worker will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those in their care.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care to individuals, including assistance with personal care. Support individuals with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety during movement. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor individuals for any changes in condition. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment. Engage individuals in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Offer companionship and emotional support to individuals, fostering a trusting relationship. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff.

Qualifications

Previous experience in caregiving or a related field such as assisted living, nursing home experience, or home care is preferred. Knowledge of Alzheimer's care and dementia care practice is advantageous. Certification in first aid is desirable; training may be provided if necessary. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. A caring attitude towards individuals requiring assistance and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
