Weekend Chef/Cook - Cardiff Garden Centre

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Weekend Chef/Cook to join our busy cafe team at Cardiff Garden Centre.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparing and serving a range of light meals including sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes, salads, soups and breakfasts Ensuring food is prepared to a high standard and presented well Assisting with stock control, rotation and ordering as required Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen and food preparation areas Complying with food safety, health and hygiene regulations at all times Operating kitchen equipment safely and correctly Assisting with daily opening and closing duties in the kitchen Supporting the cafe team to provide excellent customer service

Requirements:

Previous experience in a cafe, kitchen or catering environment preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards Reliable, flexible and able to work weekends

Weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
