Overview

Castlegate security services are a local well established company seeking to employ a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are presentable and welcoming. This position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to high standards of cleanliness, and excellent customer service skills.

The position is based at Morecambe Arndale Centre.

Hours will be discussed at interview.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including general floor cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning public toilets, emptying waste bins, litter picking, clearing spillages and sanitising surfaces. Ensure that all areas are kept tidy and organised at all times. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand cleaning requirements and address any concerns. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks. Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated timeframes.

Experience

Previous experience in a cleaning role is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. A proactive attitude towards work with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
