Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Weekend Support Workers to join our team, this can be every weekend or every other weekend, whatever suits your lifestyle. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those we serve. We regret that we currently DO NOT offer sponsorship.

DRIVING LICENCE ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE

Duties

Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Medication administration. Assist with meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met. Support individuals with mobility challenges. Maintain a safe environment for service users. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in service users' condition to the appropriate personnel. Manual Handling to provide our service users the best quality of life possible Good time management The ability to work on your own or as part of a team The ability to follow care plans keep up to date to keep up to date with training Be willing to register with Social Care Wales Be willing to enrol on a QCF level 2 if required Be able to communicate well with the management and senior team

Experience

Previous experience in home care is highly desirable. Familiarity with care practices within a home care setting is advantageous although, all training is provided. A caring attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
