We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Culinary Associate. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in food preparation and cooking, who is eager to contribute to a vibrant kitchen environment. The Culinary Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring that meals are prepared safely and efficiently, adhering to high standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a care home setting.
catering for specialist diets within the Care home. ( diabetic , soft diets, Puree)
Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
A passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.
