Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
Maintain food safety standards by adhering to hygiene regulations and best practices in food handling.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow during busy periods.
Help with the organisation of the kitchen, including cleaning work areas, utensils, and equipment after use.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not essential as all training provided.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary operations.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
