Duties
Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring all food is fresh and properly stored.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and presentation of dishes.
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure adequate supplies. .
Participate in menu planning and development, offering creative ideas for new dishes.
Skills
Strong experience in meal preparation and food preparation within a kitchen environment.
Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards is essential.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
