Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled class 1 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid UK driving licence, digital tacho, CPC and be over 30yrs old, and have experience in fridge trailers . As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Operate a lorry to transport goods to various locations, ensuring adherence to delivery schedules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Load and unload cargo, securing it properly for transport. This involves tail lift and manual labour taking cages off at stores Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage fuel and ad blue usage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise during transport. Follow all road safety regulations and company policies to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving, Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently. Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 150.00 per day

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
