Little Kickers has a vacancy for an Assistant Coach in Northampton

Sunday mornings 8.00am-12:00pm at Kingsthorpe College, 4 hours

NB: This is a permanent position requiring availability all year round.

Minimum Age Requirement for Role is 16 years + (school leavers)

A keen interest in football/sport is essential and previous experience of sports coaching and/or working with groups of children in a professional or personal capacity would be an advantage for the role.

Experienced Football or Sports Coach? Nursery/Early Years Worker, Teaching Assistant or Sports/Drama Student? Love working with children? If you are confident, out-going, great with young children, 100% reliable and interested in contributing to the success of an exciting children's activity business then we would love to hear from you!

Although training in the Little Kickers programme will be given, this role involves teaching football to 18 months-7 year old children, therefore a good sense of humour, confident manner and bundles of energy are essential! You must be a clear communicator and be physically fit.

Responsibilities of a Little Kickers Assistant Coach:

- Coaching football to children age 18 months up to 7 years old, actively supporting the lead coach to deliver sessions in a fun and engaging manner - up to a maximum 20 children per class.

- Direct communication with parents/carers at classes

- Helping to ensure all relevant health and safety processes are in place within the session

Requirements to be a Little Kickers Assistant Coach:

- Confident, out-going, enthusiastic, great with children, 100% reliable and professional.

- Able to work independently and within a team environment.

- Excellent verbal communication skills.

- Physically fit

- Keen interest in football/sport.

- FA or similar sports coaching qualification advantageous but not essential.
