Weekend Kitchen Porter
Job Description
The busy Garden Cafe in Glendoick Garden Centre, Perth, PH2 7NS is looking for a weekend kitchen porter to join our friendly kitchen team. Applicants must be available every Saturday and Sunday. Experience is not required but candidate must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and as part of a small team.
Main Duties
Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
Assist with food preparation and service under the guidance of chef, as required
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash room
Dispose of trash and recycling properly
Assist in receiving and storing deliveries
Follow all health and safety regulations
Follow daily cleaning schedules for close down at end of day
Any other reasonable duties, as required
Extra hours are available during the week and during busy holiday periods.
Pay rates are in accordance with national living wage for under 21s and 12.25 per hour for those aged 21 and over.
Due to our location and limited public transport, applicants must have a drivers licence and have access to their own vehicle.
