Weekend Laundrette Assistant - 2 Roles Available
We run a busy laundrette that supports our wholesale vintage clothing business. Every day, thousands of vintage items come through our doors to be washed, stain treated, and prepared for resale.
We're looking for reliable people to join our weekend team. This is a lone working role, so you'll need to be self-motivated, trustworthy and able to manage your own workload.
Shifts available:
Saturday & Sunday, 8 AM - 4 PM (plus holiday cover)
Saturday & Sunday, 4 PM - 12 Midnight (plus holiday cover)
What you'll be doing:
Sorting vintage clothing into colours and categories
Treating and removing stains using provided products and methods
Grading items to quality standards
Using domestic washing machines and dryers
Keeping the laundrette clean, tidy and organised
What we're looking for:
Ideally some knowledge of stain removal and using washing machines/dryers
Hard working and able to handle repetitive tasks
Self-motivated and comfortable working alone
Reliable, punctual and consistent
Detail focused, with a good eye for quality
Full training will be provided

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
