About the Role:

We are looking for a

Manufacturing / Yard Operative

to join our team at Ruby UK. In this role, you'll play a vital part in our manufacturing and dispatch process, focusing on the production of high-quality

entrance gates, fence panels, sheds, planters, and pergolas

. You will ensure these products are crafted with precision, thoroughly inspected for quality, and expertly prepared for delivery.

Key Responsibilities



Production Tasks:

Carry out assembly, packaging, labeling, and quality inspections following standard operating procedures.

Equipment Operation:

Safely operate machinery and tools.

Workplace Maintenance:

Keep workstations and production areas clean, organised, and safe.

Quality Assurance:

Monitor and maintain product quality during manufacturing, performing necessary quality checks.

Inventory Support:

Assist with material handling, stock replenishment, and inventory counts.

Team Collaboration:

Work effectively with colleagues to meet production schedules and resolve issues promptly.

Safety Compliance:

Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment.

Skill Development:

Engage in training opportunities to enhance skills and adapt to evolving production needs.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate logs of production activities, downtime, and quality data.

What We're Looking For



Experience:

Previous manufacturing or production experience is beneficial but not essential.

Skills:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions precisely. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle materials as required. Basic communication skills for effective teamwork.
