Overview

We are seeking a mature, calm, and experienced Weekend Nanny to support a young household who have recently relocated to Wandsworth, London.



This position involves caring for a bright and active 2.5-year-old boy and would suit a nurturing, outdoorsy individual with a genuine passion for early years development. Calm energy, respectful communication, and a long-term mindset are especially valued, with the parents hoping to find someone who can commit for at least two years.



The household is informal, with a stay-at-home mum and no other staff in place. Responsibilities include a mix of shared care and sole charge, and the Nanny will be encouraged to engage the child in fun, stimulating, and developmentally enriching activities, particularly outdoors.



Start date: September.

Responsibilities of the Weekend Nanny for 2.5 year old in Wandsworth, London, include:


Provide attentive and nurturing care for a 2.5-year-old boy Engage in active, age-appropriate play with a focus on outdoor exploration Support developmental milestones through structured and unstructured learning Foster a calm, respectful, and patient environment Work alongside a stay-at-home mum, balancing shared and sole care responsibilities Always ensure child's safety and emotional wellbeing Opportunity for additional evening babysitting, if desired No housekeeping or cooking is required

Candidates must be / have:

Mature, kind, calm, respectful, and patient in nature Demonstrated experience working with toddlers and supporting early years development A genuine interest in long-term engagement (minimum 2-year commitment preferred) Energetic and happy to be outdoors in all seasons Confident working independently as well as collaboratively with the parent Willing to be flexible with hours when needed Right to work in the UK Excellent references from previous nanny roles

Hours

14 hours.



Saturday and Sunday: 08:00 - 15:00.



Overtime /occasional babysitting (but this is non-essential).
