You will join an award winning team who have a strong tradition of growing plants and inspiring the public to do the same. We are looking for a new member of the team to help with advising customers, stocking up the sales area & plant maintenance on the weekends. A good knowledge of a wide range of horticulture is important for this position, 'people skills' are also paramount as we have a very strong ethos of friendly customer service.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities include:
Advising customers, watering, plant maintenance, stocking up the plant sales area, visual merchandising & general house keeping of the plant area.
Qualifications & Experience:
We are looking for candidates who have relevant horticultural qualifications & who are able to show experience of practical horticulture. It is essential to have experience of good customer service. Candidates need to be physically fit as the position involves frequent lifting, bending and pushing fully loaded plant trollies.
Hours:
13 hours every other week

Saturday 8 - 5 & Sunday 10 - 4 Every other weekend (you will have 1 hour unpaid lunchbreak). Some initial training will be carried out on a weekday before starting, other days may be available for covering other staff on holiday.
Opening Hours:
Mon - Sat: 8am - 5pm, Sundays: 10am - 4pm
