Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our team in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our retail store. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding products
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
- Process transactions accurately using the till system
- Maintain a tidy and organised sales floor
- Upsell products to increase sales revenue
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally
- Assist with stock replenishment and visual merchandising
- Operate the phone system with proper etiquette
Essential:
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous
- Basic maths skills for processing transactions and handling cash
- Ability to work well in a team environment, both remotely and onsite as you will usually be working alone
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Proven ability to sell and meet sales targets
-Proven record with key holding responsibilities
Desirable:
- Experience working with EPOS software
- Knowledge and enthusiasm to sell craft supplies

Expected working days will be three days out of seven including weekends. Some flexibility with fixed days is possible but at least one day must be at the weekend. Working hours are 1000-1600
Overtime to cover staff holidays when required
