We are looking for a friendly and experienced Weekend Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Homebird Interiors St Annes. Ideally, we'd like someone with retail or customer service experience.
The position will be for both Saturdays and Sundays each week, with the possibility of more shifts during busier periods of the year and to cover staff holidays. This will be a permanent position so we would like to hear from people who are looking for a long-term job and not just a seasonal position.
As a key member of our store, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a clean, welcoming and organised store environment. Your passion for homeware and your ability to build rapport with customers will be essential to your success.
Duties
Assist customers with product selection and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases.
Replenish stock from displays to maintain the desired look of the store.
Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within the operational hours.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve overall store performance.
Maintain stock levels and assist with inventory management as required.

Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers, retaining product knowledge and awareness of new and existing products.
Excellent organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently and quickly.
