Weekend Security Officer - Andron Facilities Management (Birkenhead, CH41)

Hours:

Saturday & Sunday, 08:00-20:00

Salary:

12.60 per hour

Job Purpose

To deliver effective on-site security operations that protect the client's premises, staff, customers, and property.

Security & Safety Duties

Understand the operating environment and any site-specific threats. Deter unauthorised access, trespass, theft, vandalism, damage, and loss through negligence. Support the protection of health, safety, confidentiality, and welfare of employees, visitors, and contractors. Remain fully compliant with

SIA licensing requirements

and all site

Assignment Instructions (AIs)

and

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

.

Access Control

Manage and monitor ingress/egress to prevent unauthorised access. Follow escalation processes when dealing with access breaches.

Patrolling

Conduct internal and external patrols to deter/detect security risks. Record all incidents in the

Daily Occurrence Book

and service delivery reports. Ensure compliance with legislation relating to

CCTV

use.

Alarm Response

Understand alarm types and required actions during different alarm conditions. Respond confidently to fire alarms, emergencies, and safety incidents.

Emergency & Incident Response

Be trained in

first aid

and fully familiar with evacuation procedures. Understand procedures for fire, accidents, personal injury, bomb threats, terrorism, and other emergencies. Follow all incident management protocols.

Building Procedures

Execute

lock-up

and

open-up

routines according to site procedures.

Requirements

Valid SIA Licence (Required)

Experience:

1 year of security experience preferred Ability to follow AIs/SOPs, maintain professionalism, and manage incidents effectively
