Weekend Van Driver required on organic free-range enterprise on an Estate in West Berkshire
The poultry enterprise houses 30,000 British Blacktail hens across 15 mobile sheds, on three different sites. Eggs are sold to supermarkets via a national distributor, and through our on-site egg shop to the general public.
The role will report directly to the Poultry Manager and will entail:
Working from approximately 11am to 3pm every Sunday
Collecting stacks of egg trays from the poultry houses
Transporting back to the egg room using our Ford Transit van
Unloading egg trays, stamping with our machine and then stacking on a pallet ready for transport.
The role can expand further, and more hours could be made available, for the right candidate.
Candidates must be physically healthy and able to lift stacks of egg trays weighing 10-13kgs.
A full, clean, UK driving license is essential.
No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
