Weetons Leeds Road: Food hall or Home & Garden Sales Assistant

Part-time role: 12+ hours per week to include every SUNDAY and 1-2 close shifts: 2+ hrs. Ideal for a local Pannal/Harrogate resident.

The role

IDEALLY SUITED TO A CUSTOMER CENTRIC EX-PROFESSIONAL /ACTIVE SEMI RETIREE OR STUDENT SEEKING 3+ SHIFTS PER WEEK NB WILL INCLUDE EVERY SUNDAY.

We are looking to recruit a customer & people centric retail assistant to work across our food hall, offering exceptional customer service and sales guidance across all our products. We offer a permanent part-time positions: to include EVERY SUNDAY and 2+ shifts across a 7 day week, including weekend work.

We offer a competitive pay rate starting from 8.50 per hour (16 - 17 yrs),10.50 (18 - 20 years), 12.50 (21 yrs+)

What Being a Weetons Sales Assistant Is All About:

Delivering an exceptional customer service to all our customers

Engaging customers and providing excellent product & produce knowledge to encourage incremental sales

Efficiently processing payments at till points whilst engaging customers.

Carrying out stock replenishment, ensuring all areas of the store remain tidy and inviting for our customers to shop.

Offering a high standard of service & competence

Maintaining standards of excellence and compliance with relevant policies and procedures within the department, including Health & Safety standards.

Being part of a team and supporting colleagues.

You will need:

A customer centric approach.

To present yourself impeccably, be physically fit, free of any injuries or ailments. The role involves being on your feet and processing stock at low and eye level

A minimum of 2 years in a customer facing retail role - till experience preferred

A friendly, confident, positive and hardworking approach to work.

To be a 'people person' who develops and maintains relationships with ease, building strong positive working relationships.

To be trustworthy and reliable.
