Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Weighbridge Operator to oversee the weighing and recording of vehicles at our busy Waste Transfer Station. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring accurate data collection, vehicle compliance, and smooth operational flow.

Duties

Operate the weighbridge equipment to accurately record vehicle weights and details. Manage incoming and outgoing vehicle movements, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with safety protocols. Provide administrative assistance, including skip orders and enquiries via telephone and email.

Requirements

Proven communication skills to liaise effectively with drivers and team members. Experience in administration, use of excel, outlook and word. To be able to work under pressure and as part of a team. To be able to adapt to different situations and scenarios.

Hours to be worked

Monday 8am- 4pm

Tuesday 7am- 4pm

Wednesday 8am- 4pm

Thursday 7am-4pm

Friday 8am- 4pm

Holiday cover may be required at times

Please note

Must have a driving licence due to remote location

Must be over 18

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 39.5 per week
