The Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Weighbridge Operator to join our team at our busy recycling facility. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the weighbridge, accurately recording vehicle weights, and providing excellent customer service to drivers and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the weighbridge system, accurately recording vehicle in/out weights. Ensure all documentation is completed correctly in line with company procedures. Liaise with drivers, site operatives, and office staff to ensure smooth traffic flow. Provide excellent customer service and deal with queries in a professional manner. Monitor site safety requirements for vehicles entering and leaving the premises. Carry out general administrative tasks as required.

Skills & Experience Required:

Experience using Weighsoft 5 weighbridge software is essential.

Previous experience as a Weighbridge Operator (preferred). Good IT skills and accuracy in record-keeping. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment. A flexible and proactive attitude.

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday - 6:00am to 4:00pm
Occasional Saturday work (optional)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour
