THE POST - Welcome Ambassador- REF035

This is an exciting opportunity to join the University of the West of Scotland at our Paisley campus.

Working within Campus Services, the Welcome Ambassadors are part of the Welcome Team that provides a high quality support service to all colleagues within the Directorate and other University stakeholders ensuring an exceptional student and visitor experience and maintaining a positive image of the University.

Reporting to the Campus Administrator, the post-holder will undertake a wide range of campus related activities to support the day-to-day operations within the Campus Services Directorate.

The successful candidate should have the following:

  • Good IT skills including the use of Microsoft applications
  • Knowledge of the Liberty VOIP telephony system or a similar package
  • Experience of working in a busy, customer-focused reception
  • Experience of general clerical and administrative administration
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure using own initiative and be flexible to suit business needs
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering service quality
  • Willingness to travel to other campuses as required
