Job Description

We're looking for a Welcome and Service assistant to join us at Studland bay to support our visitor operations and help deliver an excellent programme of events and interpretation.


Salary:

12,431.25/ 12.75 per hour


Contract:

Permanent


Hours/working pattern:

Part-time, 18.75 hours per week.This role will involve working Sunday and Monday (8.30am-4.30pm) and Tuesday morning (9.30am-1.15pm)


Potential start date:

ASAP


Due to the nature of the role a full UK Driving Licence is required.


For this role, you'll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.

The site attracts hundreds of thousand of visitors each year, and your work will directly contribute to ensuring they have a safe and enjoyable experience.

What you'll be doing:This role is a blend of public facing and administrative duties. You'll help run activities and events, support school visits and assist with organisational tasks such as arranging events materials and contributing to signage and displays.


Your creativity will come into play as you assist with seasonal trails and visual displays and ensuring high presentation levels.


You'll also be part of the team supporting the delivery of our education programme, helping co-ordinate visits, activities and ensuring the appropriate health and safety measures are in place.


Your tasks may include;


Supporting visitors with information and assisting with event set ups Helping organise materials and keeping storage areas tidy Supporting school visits (including SEND pupils), co ordinating activities and ensuring safety standards are in place.
