Job Description

Willowcrete Manufacturing Company Ltd, are looking to employ a Level 3 Fabricator Welder. This is a full-time 5 days per week position, 7:30 am until 4:00 pm (Mon - Fri).

We are a long-established family business, incorporated in 1950, based in Crowther Industrial Estate, Washington. The thriving company employs 21 people, including teams of skilled fence erectors, steel fabricators and concrete production staff.

The desired applicant should have in-depth knowledge and experience in a similar role and possess the ability to work efficiently in a workshop environment, as well as out on site. The applicant must be self-motivated, organised and hardworking, whilst remaining proud to work for our organisation with a desire to offer our customers the highest quality service. You will be required to be a team player who can work calmly under pressure and maintain strong lines of communication.

Job Requirements

:

Level 3 Fabricator Welder

required to carry out day-to-day Fabrication/Welding tasks within a workshop environment and out on site.

Fully experienced in MIG and MMA welding, burning and cutting with experience of working with a wide range of machinery, including bending machines. Proven ability to operate safely and effectively in a medium sized industrial environment. Organised, safety conscious, physically fit and motivated. Ability to work to deadlines and adapt to meet business priorities. Comfortable working outside with the ability to travel to and from Washington, Tyne & Wear without difficulty.

Knowledge and Skills

:

Level 3 Fabricator Welder.

Must have experience in structural steel, general Fabrication work,

Knowledge of fabrication of steel gates, railings and hand rails would be desirable.

Candidate qualified in MIG/ MMA Welding.

Must possess a driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points), as there is a requirement to travel from site to site, as of when required by customers.

Driving License (Required, with no more than 3 penalty points)

Conditions

40 hours per week 7:30 am until 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (with some overtime hours)

Salary

:

14.40 per hour
