Fabricator / Welder



Position Summary



Working independently in a small team of welders, designers, and engineers, building and repairing a wide range of equipment for the manufacturing and construction industry. A genuine enthusiasm for welding and mechanics is essential for success in the role, due to the diverse nature of the equipment that will need repairing(on-site) and built within our facility. No day is the same with variations in equipment and projects on a regular basis.

Total Batching Solutions is a successful and rapidly expanding engineering company that is supporting the construction sectors, and specifically the major infrastructure and energy projects across the UK, Ireland, and now globally, with an enviable reputation for providing the best in technical excellence and customer service.

Due to the huge demand for our services we are now looking to expand our team, and require experienced welders (MIG) and apprentices (no experience required) for our facility based in the outskirts of Armagh City.

Additionally, due to demand, we are moving to a new state-of-the-art facility in the coming year, and are in a unique position to offer rapid development through our training academy, and long-term employment due to contracts awarded and pipeline of work. Of note, HS2 and a major new build, nuclear facility in the UK are just two of our current major/flagship projects.

Education and Experience, applicants must be able to demonstrate;



-Ideally, 3-5 years + experience working in a similar environment and ideally carrying out MIG welding.

-An interest in welding and mechanics, which is a thriving industry with brilliant career opportunities.

- A willingness to learn new skills including, top-tier welding techniques and practices, reading designs on the factory floor and on-site, and putting the required processes into motion for yourself, and moving forward, for your team.

- A desire to work in an exciting and challenging environment.

-No formal education is required for apprentices/operatives, we are offering a welding academy/ course alongside our daily workload, to obtain coded status for all our staff, as quickly as possible.

Hours:



-Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

-Friday: 7:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Overtime:



-Available immediately

-Monday to Friday evenings and Saturdays
