Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder, experience in the manufacture of balustrades, Balconies, walkways, structural steel, really a wide variety of mild steel fabrications.

Duties

Perform MIG and MMA welding and other welding techniques on diverse materials, including sheet metal and structural components. Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts. Fabricate components according to technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Assist in the assembly of fabricated components into finished products or structures. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with standards. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines efficiently.

Experience

Proven experience in MIG and MMA welding and general fabrication work. Driving license preferable. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes and assembly techniques. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Experience working with sheet metal, structural steel, or similar materials is desirable. Familiarity with safety procedures in a workshop environment is essential.
