Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with hand and power tools effectively. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality metal components and assemblies that meet our stringent standards.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG and Stick welding on various materials, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards. Utilise hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately fabricate parts according to project requirements. Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality assurance standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any fabrication issues that may arise.

Experience

Proven experience in welding, particularly with TIG and Stick methods. Strong fabrication skills with experience working with sheet metal. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to the fabrication process. Solid mechanical knowledge, enabling effective troubleshooting of equipment and processes. Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks. Previous experience in assembly work is advantageous but not essential.
