We are looking for a hands-on Fabrication Supervisor to lead a small team. This role combines workshop supervision with hand on fabrication and welding. You will set the standard by working alongside the team while also ensuring deadlines, quality, and safety are consistently met. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, whether in the workshop or on site.
Key Responsibilities -
Lead by example on the workshop floor -- welding, fabricating, and problem-solving alongside the team
Organise, allocate and oversee day-to-day workshop activities
Uphold quality standards and ensure work matches drawings/specifications
Monitor material usage, minimise waste, ensure tools and equipment are maintained
This is a hands on leadership role where you will partner with the Company Director to oversee the day to day running of the business
Report progress, issues and performance to management
The Right Candidate Will Have

Strong background as a fabricator/welder with a minimum of 3 years experience in MIG and TIG welding within a workshop environment
A good knowledge stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium is essential
Ability to operate various sheet metal machinery such as press brake, guillotine, pillar drills, saw and CNC plasma cutter
Previous supervisory or team leader experience preferable but not essential
Ability to balance "hands-on" technical work with leadership responsibilities
Good understanding of technical drawings and specifications
Commitment to high-quality output and safe working practices
Strong communicator who can motivate and manage a small team effectively
Practical problem-solving ability under pressure
