32,390 per annum (15.57 per hour)

Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

We're now recruiting for a

MIG Welder

to join our busy manufacturing department at our

North Shields

site.

What's the mission?

In this exciting role, you will be supporting the production of our extensive range of protective street furniture and counter-terrorism products. So if this gets you excited and you're an enthusiastic team player with a willingness to succeed and develop new skills, we want to hear from you!




You will have previous experience in MIG welding Mild Steel varying from 2mm up to 20mm thick as well as being able to dress welds to a high standard Previous experience in carrying out basic fabrication tasks is beneficial.



There will be opportunities to work within other areas of the North Shields site when required to cover colleagues' holidays and absences.

What are the mission-critical skills?

Previous experience in MIG Welding Previous experience in general fabrication Previous experience in a factory role or similar Confident at working independently with the skills to work under your initiative Excellent communication skills at all levels Ability to read and interpret drawings
