Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Fabricators/Welders to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials, including sheet metal. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using both hand and power tools to assemble components and create high-quality products.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications. Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including stick welding, to ensure strong and durable joints. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and joining materials. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding and fabrication, particularly with sheet metal. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools relevant to fabrication tasks. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
