Overview


We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and adhere to safety standards. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in assembling and fabricating components that meet our specifications.

Working hours for this role are Monday-Thursday 07:25 - 15:55pm & Friday 07:30 - 13:30



Responsibilities



Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Perform welding tasks using Stick welding techniques, ensuring strong and durable joints. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various welding and fabrication tasks. Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the welding process, applying mechanical knowledge as needed.

Experience



Proven experience in welding, particularly with sheet metal, is essential. Familiarity with various welding techniques, including Stick welding, is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to interpret technical drawings are required. Basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations are necessary. Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively is essential. A commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of work is crucial.
