Welder
Job Description
Mainstay are looking for experienced Welders to join their busy boat building and marine engineering yard to support exciting new projects.
With a strong outlook, we are looking to expand our core team and are offering permanent roles.
Day to day duties:
Using hand and machine tools
Welding of metal fabricated items using MIG / TIG,
Working aluminium and steel and stainless steel assemblies.
- Understand and interpret engineering drawings
- Responsible for ensuring work is to a standard to ensure quality of end product.
Knowledge/Experience:
Apprenticeship or similar training as a fabricator if welder proof of previous coding within last 3 years
- Experience in Aluminium Welding
Experience of working with a wide range of instructions/drawings requiring some interpretation
Ability to work as part of a team to achieve quality standards and meet production deadline
Ability to work well with minimal supervision
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 15.74-18.45 per hour
Expected hours: 38.75 per week
