Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Fabricator/Welders to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for fabricating and welding components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards and safety protocols are maintained.

Orbis manufacture various products, ranging from DNV offshore modules, subsea structures, tooling and pipe spools. The majority of our clients are within the oil and gas sector, therefor top quality workmanship is paramount.

Duties

Fabricate metal components using welding techniques such as stick and MIG Assemble parts and structures according to engineering drawings and specifications. Operate hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal equipment safely and efficiently. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to improve fabrication processes and resolve any issues that arise during production.

Skills

Highly Proficient in welding techniques, particularly stick welding. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings. Experience in fabricating metal components and assembling structures. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
