Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding various components, primarily using TIG welding techniques, to produce high-quality metal structures and parts. Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques on different materials, including sheet metal. Fabricate components according to technical drawings and specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently. Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts to meet project requirements. Measure, cut, and shape materials with precision using appropriate tools. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety standards. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimise workflow.

Skills

Proficiency in TIG welding and other welding methods relevant to welding standards. Experience with fabrication processes involving sheet metal and structural components. Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment operation. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during fabrication. Familiarity with assembly processes and the use of various mechanical fasteners. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
