Giraffe CCTV is a rapidly growing technology, software, and industrial design company focused on the mobile security industry. We supply innovative products to security businesses, including a Solar CCTV Tower, a modular CCTV system and shortly launching a pod-style mobile intruder detection system, all run via our own proprietary software.

Overview

We are seeking a versatile Fabricator/Welder to join our close knit team, expanding our production capabilities by bringing welding in house. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials, including sheet metal. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand and power tools to produce high-quality components for our projects, as well as being a strong team member.

Responsibilities

Perform welding tasks as required, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Fabricate components from metal and other materials according to specifications and drawings. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to assemble parts and complete projects. Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining a safe working environment. Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and organised manner.

Experience

Proven experience in welding is essential (MIG welding desirable). Familiarity with fabrication processes, including the use of hand tools and power tools. The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Ability to accurately interpret measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.

Pay: 13.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
