Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with precision to create high-quality metal products. The successful applicant will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings and specifications while ensuring all work meets industry standards.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG and Stick welding on various materials, ensuring strong and clean welds. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for fabrication tasks. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand project requirements. Fabricate components from CR4 sheet metal, ensuring accuracy in measurements and assembly. Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with specifications. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in welding, particularly in TIG and MIG welding techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various fabrication equipment. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the fabrication process. Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks. Experience in assembly processes related to metal fabrication is advantageous. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work consistently. Pay: 13.50-15.00 per hour
