Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with hand and power tools effectively. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components and assemblies that meet industry standards. Occasionally on site work required as we provide a full turnkey service, from design to manufacture and installation.

Duties

Perform mainly MIG welding with some TIG on various materials, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards. Fabrication of bespoke products. Utilise hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements and specifications. Conduct fabrication of metal parts, ensuring precision in measurements and assembly. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while meeting deadlines. Carry out routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance. Some site work is required, consisting of fitting in house manufactured products.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with proficiency in MIG welding, TIG and Stick welding techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and schematics. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is essential. Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication processes. Experience in metal work is desirable. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills. A commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of work.
