Due to continued growth, we are seeking

experienced Welders / Fabricators

to join our client's manufacturing team on a predominantly night shift basis though day shifts may soon be available. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established engineering business with the potential for long-term employment.

Shift & Pay Details:

46 hours paid per week minimum, Monday-Thursday x1.33 night shift allowance up to 39 hours x1.5 night shift allowance between 39 and 46 hours x2 night shift allowance above 46 hours Overtime available dependent on production demand Temp to Perm
Key Responsibilities:

Work to Standard Operating Procedures and daily work schedules Read and interpret engineering drawings Grind and finish all components to specification Weld aluminium housing and conductors Weld copper conductors Produce finished product independently to required standards Safe use of MIG and TIG welders, plus 4.5" and 9" grinders Assess instructions from management and execute tasks accordingly Maintain balanced workflow into Grind and Paint departments Prepare and pass complete material kits into the Paint Department Ensure all work meets strict quality standards Maintain high levels of health & safety and comply with zero-tolerance H&S rules Report any non-compliance or deviations Maintain excellent housekeeping standards Attend team meetings and contribute to process improvements Recommend tooling and method changes where appropriate.
