About the Role

We are looking for an experienced

Welder/Fabricator

to join our growing team producing bespoke metalwork and fabricated components in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
This is a permanent, full-time position offering stability, variety, and the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects - from custom architectural features to precision sheet-metal fabrications.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate components from engineering drawings to a high standard. MIG and TIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Operate workshop machinery - press brake, guillotine, rollers, saws, grinders, drills etc. Carry out fitting, assembly and finishing work (grinding, polishing, dressing welds). Work to tight tolerances on bespoke projects, ensuring quality and accuracy. Participate in occasional site installations or fitting work when required. Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience as a welder/fabricator in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Ability to read and interpret fabrication and technical drawings. Competent in MIG welding (TIG and stick welding desirable). Experience with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Sheet-metal or architectural metalwork experience advantageous. Good attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
