We're seeking a talented and experienced

Welder/Fabricator

to join our expanding team in Cardiff. This hands-on role involves creating high-quality, bespoke metalwork and fabricated components using

mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble components from engineering drawings to a high standard. Perform

MIG and TIG welding

on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. Operate a variety of workshop machinery including press brake, guillotine, rollers, saws, grinders, and drills. Carry out fitting, finishing, and polishing tasks, ensuring all work meets quality specifications. Work accurately to tight tolerances on bespoke and one-off projects. Assist with occasional on-site installations and fitting work when required. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven background as a

welder/fabricator

in a manufacturing or engineering setting. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Competent in

MIG welding

(TIG and stick welding experience desirable). Skilled in working with

mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium

. Experience with

sheet-metal or architectural metalwork

is an advantage. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results. Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
