We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials, particularly sheet metal. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using both hand and power tools to assemble components accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and weld components according to specifications and engineering drawings. Utilise mig welding techniques to join metal parts securely. Assemble metal structures and components, ensuring precision and quality in every task. Operate various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Familiarity with basic maths for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes. Experience using both power tools and hand tools effectively is required. A commitment to producing high-quality work while adhering to deadlines is crucial.
