Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding and fabrication processes, with the ability to work with various materials including sheet metal. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Duties

Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications and drawings. Perform stick welding and other welding techniques to join metal parts securely. Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials. Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any issues that arise during fabrication.

Experience

Proven experience in welding and fabrication, particularly with sheet metal. Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to the fabrication process. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail is essential for success in this role.
