Overview

We are seeking 2 Fabricators and 2 Welders. The ideal candidate will possess strong welding and fabrication skills, with experience in TIG welding and sheet metal work. You will be responsible:

Fabricate and weld metal components using mild steel and stainless steel Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications accurately Set up and operate welding and fabrication equipment for varying job requirements Carry out MIG welding, with opportunities to develop TIG skills Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met Complete daily safety and equipment checks prior to use Follow all Health & Safety procedures and use PPE correctly at all times Assemble components with precision and strong attention to detail Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment Communicate effectively with supervisors and production teams to meet deadlines Support continuous improvement and quality compliance within the department Participate in training, toolbox talks and skills development programmes Carry out additional reasonable duties as required

The ideal candidate will have:

Proven competence in welding and fabrication techniques Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Strong practical problem-solving and fault-finding skills Confident use of hand and power tools, including grinders and drills Team-focused approach with the ability to work independently when required Safety-conscious, proactive and quality-driven mindset High level of manual dexterity and attention to detail Willingness to undertake further training, including overhead crane operation
