Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components with precision and attention to detail. Responsibilities



Perform MIG welding and other welding techniques on various metals, including sheet metal, ensuring adherence to safety standards and specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components. Fabricate parts according to technical drawings, blueprints, or specifications. Work with sheet metal and other materials to produce precise components for assembly. Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into finished products or structures. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed during operations. Conduct quality checks on finished welds and fabricated parts to ensure compliance with standards. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.

Requirements



Proven experience in MIG welding and general fabrication processes. Strong knowledge of welding techniques and standards. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, assembly, and material properties. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or schematics accurately. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes. Experience working with sheet metal and performing precise cuts and welds. Good understanding of safety procedures related to welding and fabrication environments. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure quality work. Candidates should be committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in their craft. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.00 per hour
